Please! Do not smoke in the street!

Hi! I'm Sujin.
I want to persuade road-smokers that do not smoke in the street.
Korea is a democratic nation and guarantees freedom of one's choice.
However, that freedom must be guaranteed when other's freedom is not violated.
Smoking in the street causes damage to pedestrians.

For example, there were an accident that a child lose the sight of eye because of cigarette ash. The height of road-smoker's hands was even with that of child's eye. When road-smoker ashed his cigarette, the ash got in child's eye.

And,there are so many people that can not breathe cigarette smoke. If road-smokers are smoke their cigarette in the street, people in that street have no choice but to breathe in that smoke. It can cause unpleasantness to pedestrians.

Most of road-smokers throw out their cigarette in the street as their smoking is finished. Thrown cigarette butts make street dirty and pedestrians feel unpleasant. If cigarette butts are scattered in the street, street sweepers have a hard time in cleaning the street.

I suggest that smokers smoke their cigarette in designated smoking areas. I know that there are few designated smoking areas. However, if smokers observe the rules of etiquette, we could smile in the street.
